Actinaria Collection

Each sculpture, a modern totem and tribute to the ethereal, is a collaboration with light and gravity, weight and balance. While some works stretch vertically and others spread horizontally, they all create marvelous space; reaching branches frame contents that would've otherwise gone unseen, and dried florals--which seem to simultaneously bloom and weep--press outward against confines we wouldn't think to question.

The objects within them--marble, quartz, brass, manzanilla wood, and hand-preserved botanicals--harken towards vanitas while upending it, bringing joy and celebration of nature's offerings to the fore. With this sentiment, each sculpture becomes a portrait of renewal, and of the moment in which we allow ourselves the permission to evolve.
